





Common Ground
The goal of the Common Ground image-marketing campaign is to increase positive recognition of Marymount University in its primary service area – the greater Washington, DC, region.
The campaign was first introduced to the campus community, so that Marymount students, faculty, staff, and alumni would be prepared to support the effort as brand ambassadors.
Initiatives to introduce, and sustain enthusiasm for, the campaign included
- incorporation of the Common Ground theme in campus events, including Volunteer Service Day (Aug.), Homecoming (Sept.), Family Weekend (Oct.), the President’s Circle Dinner (Oct.), and the International Thanksgiving Dinner (Nov.)
- distribution of Common Ground vehicle magnets, with weekly prizes given to individuals displaying them
- distribution of Common Ground tee shirts and buttons
